Asking for the Call on LinkedIn is the Difference Between 211℉ and 212℉

LinkedIn

1 degree makes a huge impact on an outcome, and if you are in business development it could be the difference between connecting with the right people on LinkedIn and having a conversations with them.

Here are 2 ways to engage the right people on LinkedIn and covert them to quality phone calls:

  1. Create an advanced search of your first degree connections because it is important to identify the people you are already connected to that should be a conversation. Be sure to filter them by title, industry and geographic location to get the best list of people you wish to speak with, then simply send them a request:  NAME, We have been connected on LinkedIn for some time now but haven’t had the chance to talk. I thought it might make sense for the two of us to have a brief introductory call so we can explore ways we might be able to work together now or in the future. Here is a link to my calendar http://ScheduleaCallwithBrynne.com please pick a time that is most convenient for you. I am looking forward to our call.
  2. With each new connection, determine if they are someone you’d like to speak with and tweak the LinkedIn message slightly: NAME, it is nice to be connected on LinkedIn. Typically I like to have a brief call with my new connections so we can explore ways we might be able to work together now or in the future. Here is a link to my calendarhttp://ScheduleaCallwithBrynne.com please pick a time that is most convenient for you. I am looking forward to our call.

The difference may be a small change in thinking, or tiny extra step in the process, but it can deliver enormous results. What will that 1℉ do for your business?

Please share your thoughts in comments and tell us ways you have been able to get more phone calls with your LinkedIn connections.
