Fred’s Insights
The key to social selling success is to be intentional, consistent, and intelligent. Be intentional in what you’re trying to achieve.
Is it to show yourself as an expert, a resource, or a leader? You can use social selling to gain customers by presenting yourself as someone who is trustworthy, intelligent, and helpful. You can give tips, give advice, or present stories that will help your prospects achieve their goals. Think hard about what you want to do and then be intentional about frequently presenting examples that confirm your personal positioning. You also need to be consistent about how you post, when you post, and how frequently you post. Set a time every day to post. Build a network of followers who will help accelerate your post. And, most importantly, be present and regular. Finally, really dig deep into what value your audience wants from you. If they want insights, ideas, examples of how to grow their own business, present yourself as an intelligent resource who has given this a lot of thought. And be engaging.
Great partnerships can come from your investment in social selling!
