Hey there, everyone, and thanks for joining us for Making Sales Social Live, coming to you from the Social Sales Link virtual studios. I’m Bob Woods. Stan Robinson Jr. and Brynne Tillman are here with us today as well. How are you all doing?

Doing great. Awesome.
Brynne Tillman | 01:05
Very thankful. Very.
Bob Woods | 01:09
Thankful during this Thanksgiving week here in the U.S. Because it is Thanksgiving week here in the U.S. If you’re listening to us on the podcast, it’s already passed, but you can still get a lot out of this episode.
So, speaking of that, we’re breaking away from our usual format today. Buckle up, everybody. We’re putting all of our normal top topics aside because instead, we’re going to talk about something we don’t say out loud nearly enough—what we’re grateful for in the work we get to do every day.
Here at Social Sales Link, we help people start honest, authentic conversations, elevate their voices, and build relationships through trust. We truly believe that’s a very special place to be. Today is all about appreciation—for the people we serve, the people we serve with, the platforms that make it all possible, and for everyone listening and watching. We are definitely grateful for all of you.
We also want to hear what you’re thankful for. If you’re joining us live, please share in the chat and we’ll talk about it. So let’s get things rolling. Who wants to go first?
Brynne Tillman | 02:34
I’m thrilled to get started. First, I’m thankful for the opportunity to share how thankful I am. I’m incredibly grateful for the work I get to do and for the chance to help others succeed.
I’m grateful for the people who trust us enough to let us step in as part of their team, supporting their goals as if they were our own. We truly love being part of our clients’ lives and having that impact.
I’m grateful for our community, now more than 11,000 strong, and for our Premium Members who lead with generosity, share their experiences freely, and create a space where collective growth is real. We’re helping each other grow, and I love that.
I’m thankful for you, Stan, and for you, Bob—for your commitment to our members and community, for the way we show up for each other, and for the partnerships that make work so meaningful. I couldn’t ask for better people to do this with every day.
I’m grateful for my friends and family, for the honor of being a mom and a wife, and for the steady presence of people I can count on. I’m grateful for my health, for a life filled with purpose, and for a career that lets me contribute in a meaningful way. Today, I’m simply grateful enough to recognize how blessed I am. Thank you.
Bob Woods | 04:43
You’re very welcome. That was beautifully said and very much appreciated.
Stan Robinson Jr. | 04:49
That really was beautifully said.
While our focus is on what we’re thankful for in our work, one of the main reasons I do work is because of family. I’m extremely thankful for my family—my wife, my daughter, and my extended family. I never try to take the people in my life for granted.
We recently attended services for a friend, and moments like that are always a reminder to be grateful. Brynne mentioned health, and that’s something I’m incredibly thankful for. Without it, there’s very little you can do.
I’m grateful to help people succeed using tools I genuinely enjoy—LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and AI. Being able to help others use tools that have added value to my professional life is incredibly fulfilling.
I’m also very grateful to be working with both of you. Every time the three of us get together, I learn something new. And our broader community truly helps each other. In coaching sessions, people learn just as much from each other as they do from us, and that’s phenomenal. Those are some of the things I’m grateful for.
Bob Woods | 07:06
That’s great stuff. Especially the learning-from-each-other aspect of our community. That’s what communities are all about—sharing knowledge. It’s not just us standing at a virtual podium. There’s so much we don’t know, and having people willing to help one another is incredibly valuable. If you’re part of a community like that, it’s something to be thankful for.
Brynne Tillman | 07:51
Well said. Any additional words about your thankfulness?
Bob Woods | 07:58
Do I ever. First, I’m thankful for the conversations we generate—not just the content. Coming from a journalism background, content has always been part of my life. But traditional broadcast journalism was very one-way.
Now, I get to help people start real conversations—no pitch, no push—just connection. We move away from vanity metrics like going viral or chasing algorithms and instead focus on conversations that build trust. I’m thankful to be a small part of others’ journeys in building that.
I’ve been on LinkedIn for 22 years now, and conversations remain the driving force behind everything we do. I’m grateful to help others build their businesses that way.
I’m also thankful for my health and for being able to talk about the connection between health and business. I’ve lost over 120 pounds, and while the physical change matters, what really changed is how I show up professionally. Better energy leads to better conversations, creativity, and decision-making—and that impacts sales directly.
I’m thankful to do work that aligns with who I am—a strategist, an early LinkedIn nerd, a former TV guy who somehow came back to video—and someone who genuinely loves helping people get better results without compromising who they are. No masks, no performance—just being human.
I’m grateful for friends and family. They are crucial, and if you’re not making time for them, you should. They impact your well-being and your business.
I’m deeply thankful for Brynne and Stan. Brynne brings clarity and a teacher’s heart. Stan brings perspective and calm insight—something every team needs. And I’m thankful for our community: our members, listeners, guests, commenters. Every interaction reminds me this is a movement, not just a business.
Our members choose a harder but better path—focusing on conversations instead of noise, slowing down to speed up. Their wins, big or small, are incredibly fulfilling. We don’t just have clients—we walk alongside people building something meaningful. I’m grateful for everyone on that journey with us.
Brynne Tillman | 14:39
You’re choking up now. I love that.
I also want to acknowledge our incredible operations team—the people behind the scenes. Kat, who runs the backbone of the business; Bricks, who manages our entire technology platform on Kajabi; Reggie, our social media manager and creative powerhouse; and Clarice, who manages the podcasts, editing, and fills in every gap. We truly couldn’t do this without them. Thank you all.
Bob Woods | 16:36
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to listen, learn, and grow with us—whether it’s sales, social selling, LinkedIn, AI, or Substack. We’re honored to be in a position to help.
Stan Robinson Jr. | 17:03
Well said. We’re grateful to everyone listening or watching. We know you could be doing other things, and we truly appreciate you spending your time with us.
Brynne Tillman | 17:23
