Worklife Balance can be as little as 2 minutes! I often hear people say they are too busy to take time for themselves. However, it takes as little as 2 minutes to reset your central nervous system and recharge your energy. Worklife Balance is not about the quantity of time – it is about the quality. So if you can release your mind from the stress and be able to reset, 2 minutes between meetings is all you need.
Try scheduling 5-10 minute breaks between meetings to either get still and meditate, listen to music, walk around the house or office, etc., to shift your energy before your next meeting, or even work on your own work that you need to accomplish.
Being intentional about your day so it is not coming at you and instead you control your energy will help you to create more happiness. When you create better energy for yourself, you create better energy for those around you as well.
